Summer has arrived in all its glory. Green, lush, and warm! All around us, rice farmers are planting their fields with great anticipation of record harvests in a time of exceptionally high rice prices. Meanwhile, the days here are becoming increasingly humid, and the first typhoons are threatening to usher in the rainy season in Kobe.

In this brief update, we look back for a moment at some of the key highlights of our work with Mission Japan over the past year. Throughout it all, we remain keenly aware that none of this would have been possible without the prayers, encouragement, and support of our ministry partners—people like you and congregations like the one you are part of.

We simply want to say, “Thank you very, very much!”

We truly count it a privilege and a blessing to have you as our partners in the gospel. Please continue to persevere with us. Sharing the gospel in Japan—much like rice farming—is a marathon rather than a sprint!
